CHALLENGES:

The main challenge was to design a mezzanine floor that could support multiple areas of function.

Additionally, the new floor had to be installed above an autoclave oven and a spray-painting area meaning specific requirements had to be met for both the use of the floor and the safety of it.

OUTCOME:

Overall, the project was an enormous success, and the clients were incredibly happy with the results. The use of new space was highly effective and made a great difference in their processes.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The job included the delivery and installation of a mezzanine floor to provide small parts storage, a production area, a new desk area and a workbench area all added on the mezzanine level to release the ground floor area for further production space.

We had to add partitioning along with suspended ceilings and column casings, all at the correct standard to comply with fire safety regulations. Additionally, we did some final decoration and replaced a few door fittings so that the whole project was safe and effective.
