CHALLENGES:
The biggest challenge we faced was the very tight time frame. As the location of this project was their contact centre, it couldn’t be out of action for too long.
We agreed with the Client that the call centre would be out of action for just 2 weeks in total meaning we would have to carry out a fast tracked fit-out.
The Client’s IT team needed 2 days to install & test all the PCs to ensure a smooth transition, meaning we were left with 12 days to complete the entire refurbishment.
This also meant all furniture had to be ordered straight away as lead times put us at risk of not getting furniture in time for the completion date.
OUTCOME:
The client was thrilled with the outcome, and so were we!
We maximised their space using clever furniture, altering the desk layout and updated their lighting and colour scheme to make the office feel lighter and brighter.
We used acoustic noticeboards on the walls to absorb some of the office noise which also provided some needed pops of colour.
With the new layout the busy call centre can now function more efficiently.
REFURBISHMENT PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Harwoods are a long-standing client of ours, they contacted us to quote for a refurbishment of their contact centre in Basingstoke. The brief was to update their current office space with a fresh, clean, modern look & feel supplying all new furniture, including a small tea point.
